Volunteer Trail Building Event at the Galisteo Basin Preserve, co-sponsored by the Trails Alliance of Santa Fe and Santa Fe Fat Tire Society. Volunteers will be helping to complete work on the two new “Central Basin” trails. The day should offer volunteers an opportunity to celebrate the “turn to fall,” as well as support the Preserve’s stewardship needs. Volunteers will meet at the Cowboy Shack Trailhead. Volunteers should bring work gloves, hat, water, sunscreen and wear closed toe, heavy work boots. Snacks will be provided. To get to the Cowboy Shack Trailhead, please follow Astral Valley Road, staying right as Astral Valley Road becomes Morning Star Ridge all the way to the trailhead. The route will marked with red flags.
