Maintenance work to address erosion issues on La Tierra Trails. We will be working in the northwest corner of La Tierra Trails in the vicinity of Junctions 3 and 5 (see La Tierra Trails Map).

Bring work boots, long pants/shirt sleeves, sun protection, snacks, and water.
Join SFFTS and continue the work on the upper Winsor Trail. Help build a reroute to bypass a steep and badly eroded section of the Winsor National Recreation Trail. Meet at Pacheco Canyon Road and Hyde Park Road, just above the Big Tesuque campground. Bring plenty of water, wear long pants, long sleeved shirts and over the ankle boots are required for all participants. Tools and hard hats will be provided.

We will meet at the “mailboxes” on Camino La Tierra at 8:30 and carpool to a private access point to the trails. You can also find us via the trails in the vicinity of Junction 5.
