We will be working to make the Equestrian Trailer Parking area safer for our hooved friends! (Horses)

We will be lowering the wooden parking markers to lessen the possibility of a horse injury.

Please invite your friends as this is a great volunteer opportunity.

Bring sunscreen and water and gloves. We will provide all tools.

Come work on Dale Ball Trails, South Section, with city trail volunteers.  We’ll meet at Cerro Gordo Trailhead and then head up the “Arroyo Polay” to work above Junction 44 toward Junctions 33 (Dorothy Stewart Trail) and 38.

Bring work boots, long pants/shirt sleeves, sun protection, snacks, and water.  I’ll bring the tools and supplies as well as work gloves for whoever needs them.

Join us for work on trails tying into La Tierra Trails.  We will be back on Arbolitos Trail for a second work day, meeting at the corner of Ridgetop Rd. and Tano Rd. (The best parking is nearby on Ridge Point Loop.)

Trail Building at Galisteo Basin Preserve – Saturday, Sept. 16, 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM at GBP – Cowboy Shack Trailhead. Construct a half-mile multi-use trail segment that is being re-routed due to erosion affects from an advancing arroyo. Commonweal will supply all the trail building tools as well as snacks.
