Volunteers discuss up coming trail work and issues with city, county and USFS folks. Open to everybody.
Come help maintain La Tierra Trails! We will meet at La Cuchara Trailhead, past the church at the end of “Unity Way” (a/k/a La Cuchara Rd.).
Bring work boots, long pants/shirt sleeves, sun protection, snacks, and water. Also, please consider bringing a mountain bike to help work in the nearby “Dog Park Connector Trail” during the work day or afterwards. I’ll bring the tools as well as work gloves for whoever needs them.
To sign up, contact Tim Rogers at tim@sfct.org or (505) 989-7019.

Join this mellow community bicycle ride visiting trails along the Santa Fe River and Acequia Madre. We will take a look at and learn about some of the storm-water mitigation work and “rain gardens” that the City and partners have developed along these two waterways.
We will pass through the new Acequia Trail underpass on our way to Larragoite Park, Ashbaugh Park, and Frenchy’s Field, and then head up the river through downtown. From East Alameda we will trace the Acequia Madre back to the Railyard to enjoy the Railyard Park Earth Day Celebration.
